The Persian-American National Day of Service is an opportunity to bring Persian-Americans together to serve their local communities and demonstrate the Persian-American commitment to give back to America.  \u003c\/p\u003e\u003ch4\u003eThe Gift\u003c\/h4\u003e\u003cp\u003eYour gift will fund transportation and supply costs for a local community’s implementation of the National Day of Service. For the Persian-American National Day of Service, PARSA will partner with dedicated local organizations and provide coordination and national publicity to facilitate the successful implementation of a local campaign. This first annual National Day of Service is intended to be a catalyst to inspire greater long-term participation. It will include neighborhood cleanup and enhancement projects such as cleaning up a local park, Red Cross and health projects such as organizing a blood drive, and help for the hungry and homeless such as cooking and serving meals at a food bank.
